Cheap Boob Job Proves Fatal for Brit Mum

A 58-year old British mother’s desire to have a plastic surgery for cheap proved to be fatal as she died just 24 hours after undergoing tummy tuck and breast surgeries in Poland. Thousands of Britons go to Poland for plastic surgeries where prices are cheap compared to Britain and other major European countries. Freda Heath decided to go under the knife in order to “lift her spirits” following the death of her husband in 2009.

Mrs Heath, who resided in Ashford, Kent, underwent the twin surgeries on June 21 and while doctors in Poland said that she immediately suffered a major stroke, they were unable to identify the exact cause of death.

Stating that people should be wary about the inferior medical services offered in other countries, coroner Rachel Redman said, “Countries such as Poland might be behind us in medical advancement and might not have as refined equipment and anesthetic agents as us.”
