Health authorities report – 'In Zambia, people in the tourist resort city of Livingstone were tested for bird flu virus attack after finding dead chickens at the owners backyards'.
Simon Miti, the permanent secretary at the health ministry, said 'No confirmed evidences were found after thorough investigation of the outbreak'.The number of chickens, which were died is not been cleared yet but residents who cooked and ate the dead chickens have been admitted in hospital for bird flu test – said Miti.
Livingstone's health official said some birds were also been transferred to for assessment.
