Children with disabilities are not ordinary but special and, therefore, require better attention and lifestyle choices.
A mother of an eight-year-old son with disabilities has created a new revolution by designing different and comfortable clothes for these special children.

Mindy Scheier, started a non-profit organization, Runway of Dreams in 2013 with the aim of helping children with disabilities. She has designed a pair of jeans that could go over the leg braces, worn by these kids.

The reason behind her design was that she had to visit her son regularly during lunchtime to take off his pants so that he could use the toilet. Now her designs have reached to another level.

The popular clothing brand, Tommy Hilfiger has collaborated with Runway of Dreams to develop adaptive versions of children's clothing line. The tagline for the collection is: "Because every kid deserves a great pair of jeans."

“Our company has always embraced the diversity of our customers. Runway of Dreams helped further our understanding of the differently abled community's unique needs, and with this knowledge, we hope that we will be able to better serve them,” said Gary Sheinbaum, Tommy Hilfiger Americas CEO.
