Chocolate lovers can now justify their habit by claiming that they are slowing down the aging process
Chocolate lovers can now justify their habit by claiming that they are slowing down the aging process after a team of scientists claimed that they have found a way to take advantage of chocolate’s anti aging benefits without the danger of piling on excess calories. Scientists have been looking for ways to boost the absorption of cocoa molecules by the body as they have been found to slow down the process of aging.
Researchers at biotechnology specialist Lycotec said that they have modified chocolate with an ingredient known as Coco-Lycosome which can boost the power of cocoa flavanols by as much as 20 times.
“Two bars a day may be good news for chocoholics but not everybody loves chocolate that much. But now everyone can benefit from the intrinsic values of cocoa flavanols without compromising their health and habits”, Lycotec founder Dr Ivan Petyaev said.
