Cigar Rights for America Champions for Exemption of Cigars from Indoor Smoking Ban

The Cigar Rights of America is petitioning for a new bill that will seek to exclude cigars from indoor smoking bans. With a national petition drive, named ‘Operation Cigar Liberty’, they are hoping to legally get the exemption for cigars from smoking bans. This means if the bill goes through some designated lounges and cigar bars will allow smoking cigars.

Meanwhile, the anti-smoking group action is not too happy with this development. They feel that the ban has been instituted as a protection for non-smokers and exemption of cigars from smoking bans defeats this purpose.
