Celeron Genomics Inc, will soon publish its findings on the human genome project, which is a much talked about topic, considering that the mapping of the genes will enable one to have the information to manipulate individual characteristics like the color of the eye or even skin. It will also help say whether a cell will function normally or not, enabling one to screen babies in the womb for diseases, and device specific advancements against many hereditary diseases and remedies for crippling ailments.

While it is customary to make the results of such ground-breaking research available for unrestricted public access, Celeron Genomics Inc. has worked a controversial deal with leading journal Science which will store the entire resources in a public databank called ' Genbank', which will allow academic users to download a specific amount of information with no hang-up, but beyond which the academic must disclaim rights to use such information commercially. Commercial users will however have to pay for any information used. Researchers believe commercializing the information will heavily compromise scientific research.
