Court documents obtained by TMZ.com suggest that Love may have lost legal control of her 17-year-old daughter because she abused her, reports the New York Daily News.

Love was stripped of legal guardianship of Frances on December 11, and a judge later issued a temporary restraining order prohibiting Love from having contact with her only child with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
No reason was given at the time for the issuance of the order, which prohibits Love from "certain behaviour and from coming within a certain distance of Frances and her guardians."
