After allegations of bar staff serving booze to minors surfaced, Fall Out Boy star Pete Wentz's New York bar has been temporarily shut down
Wentz, 29, and members of Gym Class Heroes and Cobra Starship are co-owners of the Angels and Kings venue in Manhattan, which had been opened in 2007, reports Contactmusic. As per celebrity website Gawker.com, the bar has been closed for three days by the New York Police Department (NYPD) after the claims surfaced.
The site has also posted photographs of the venue's front door, which has been plastered with a police notice which states the bar has been "closed by court order" over the "illegal sale of alcoholic beverages to minors".
But the bar's website has issued a statement saying that the venue is currently shut for "maintenance work".
