Have you ever wondered why your kids are so aggressive and almost impossible to handle at times? Then read on.

World over there is increasing concern over the way the children of today are growing up. Even the West is getting desperate and looking for help. Things are no better in India. With the TV boom and the IT revolution, the kids seem to know all at a very young age and many parents complain that their kids are actually going over the edge, right in front of their eyes.

While the topic itself is so intense that a thesis can be done on this, people are now wondering how they can make kids more docile and gentle and less aggressive.

In the United States of America a new study has come out with some helpful tips. The crux of the study’s finding is that TV and video games do the most damage and make children very aggressive. The researchers advice parents to cut down on TV and video games. “The kids mellow down dramatically”, they say. The Stanford University, in two schools, conducted this study and the results were evaluated and were found to be encouraging. The study was unique because the kids themselves assessed the aggression in their classmates. After the study period when the kids were asked to evaluate their peers they were surprised to find that most of the aggressive ones, who had cut down on TV, were much more softer and more social than before.

The reason the researchers attribute to this aggression is that children who spend more time on TV and video games may have very little time to interact with others and may have very few social skills.

Now that the word is out, it is hoped that the parents take more time off from their schedules and spend more time with their kids and talk to them, touch them and joke with them and involve them more in the social aspects of day-to-day life. Let the television sets and video games rest for some time. Poor machines they are so stressed out!!!!!!!!!
