A working shepherd who is turning his hand to executive training has launched a program called 'Raising the Baa' to help Brits de-stress. The programme is apparently the newest craze in motivational and team building for deskbound executives.
The office workers turn up at a Wiltshire farm to be greeted by shepherd Chris Farnsworth, who gets the groups to act as sheepdogs and, just as the canines do on One Man And His Dog, round up sheep and get them into a pen, the Daily Mail reported.
The way the different city slickers work not only helps them bond and develop teamwork, but also finds out who are the natural leaders or followers.
In other words, who amongst them is the human equivalent of shepherd, dog or sheep and how could that relate to their day jobs.
Video recording is done when the teams try and work together to round the sheep up and then it is played back to them as their roles are shown and defined.
Farnsworth and his partner Caroline Palmer conduct the course on local farms where he has been a contract shepherd for neighbouring landowners for more than 30 years.

"This event helps groups of people, who work together on a paid or voluntary basis, to improve communication skills, increase confidence, enhance leadership qualities, be an inspiration to others - and have heaps of fun in the process," Farnsworth said.

"We call it our Open Ewe-niversity," she added.
