Delhi’s Health Minister A.K. Walia warned that people should be prepared to take necessary caution in order to fight against a possible outbreak of water and vector borne diseases during the current season. He warned that the weather is conducive to malaria, dengue, cholera, gastroenteritis and typhoid.
He advised people to take precautionary measures to keep such diseases under control.
Walia was reviewing the situation on water and vector borne diseases in Delhi at a meeting attended by health officials.
