Dr Douglas McGeorge, president-elect of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, said that those clinicians who do not have formal qualifications in aesthetic surgery and still practicing it will not be allowed to do so. People practicing before 2002 will continue practicing without any interruptions. This is due to the reason that all the practioners from 2002 will be listed in the specialty register.
