Investigators analyzed the role of the environment in triggering conditions like asthma, ADHD and childhood cancers and put a figure on the costs of treating such disorders .
According to the analysis, the list of diseases triggered by environmental factors are methylmercury poisoning, childhood cancer, lead poisoning, asthma, autism and ADHD. Lead poisoning was by far the costliest.
