Doctors Concerned Over Sai Baba`s Sluggish Recovery
Sai Baba's slow and sluggish recovery worries doctors treating him. Sai Baba is undergoing treatment for past 16 days at the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Puttaparthi in Andhra Pradesh.
"His response to the treatment is positive, but sluggish, which is a bit of a cause for worry for the team of doctors attending on him. He continues to be in a critical state of health," Hospital Director A N Safaya said.

Safaya's statement assumes importance as none of the doctors on the panel had so far expressed any concern over Baba's condition.

They had repeatedly maintained that "he is critical but responding well."

A Deccan Herald report that the panel of doctors treating him was of the opinion now that his response to the treatment was not satisfactory.

The Baba is still on ventilator to assist his respiration and intermittent haemodialysis to assist his kidneys.
