Dogs, known for their loyalty and unflinching love for their masters now have a special spot in Brits’ hearts. Infact, in the race for the favorite spot as pets, dogs may soon leave the feline fraternity far behind.
According to Pet Food Manufacturers' Association (PFMA), cats reigned supreme in 1994. Recent data from PFMA shows that the cat population has decreased from a high of 9.6 million to about 8.6 million.
The populations of dogs is now at 8.3 million and is showing a steady increase.
