Geneva – A nod has been given by the administration in WHO, to an agreement that will permit the revamp of drug research and development. This is indeed a quantum leap in this field, which will enable affordable drugs as per the need. Moreover, it will also infuse renewed thrust in the area of drug research and development, which will in turn pave the way for novel methods to source drugs, based on the funding.
This resolution is being considered as a breakthrough by the health charity Medicine Sans Frontier which has been the driving force behind the changes in the development of drugs. 192 member countries will now be acting on the recommendations of the report.
