A GP who faced charges of drink-driving was caught once again by DVLA testers after she tried to con them by using a patient’s clean blood sample to prove she was fit to drive again.

A GP who faced charges of drink-driving was caught once again by DVLA testers after she tried to con them by using a patient’s clean blood sample to prove she was fit to drive again.
Dr Ellen MacInnes, from Chelmsford, Essex ,who faced a driving ban, conned a patient for a blood sample to test for a phony illness.

DVLA testers suspected something wrong when they received two samples.

The GP now stands suspended for a year, forbidding her from medical practice for her dishonest actions.
