Early Flu Outbreak in US.

In US there is an early outbreak of incidence of flu. There is also fear that the strain is different from that of the previous year.

In US there is an outbreak of flu and it is presumed that this year it is early and different from the previous year.

In Texas and Colorado the flu case increased greatly in number when compared to the previous year.

In Georgia the State Health Department reports to the press that they've had 4 cases of Influenza Type A flu.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta cautions the need for vaccines against this particular strain of flu. The vaccine that conferred immunity against the flu so far seems not to work in the current year against the new strain.

This is due to the fact that the strains are very different and the changing flu strain is called a Drift. But the director assures the people that the strains though different are very similar to each other and the present vaccine will confer immunity against the flu. The director also said that no matter whatever the drift be the vaccine will provide cross protection against the flu.

But a close watch will be kept on the new strain and the effectiveness of the available vaccine. The vaccine doses are recommended for the children and elderly, people above 50 years and below 2 years.

It is also advised that heath care people and people with chronic disease also take the vaccine.
