Tabatha McElligott, a 19-year-old teenager, had a life changing experience two years back. She almost lost her life due to extreme fear after a teacher yelled at her for missing a class.

She was rushed to the hospital where she underwent life saving surgery. Apparently, Tabatha, who was a victim of a rare heart condition, had actually suffered a heart attack due to extreme fear. Since she was rushed to the hospital in time, doctors could save her.
Unaware that she was a victim of a rare heart problem, Tabitha said, “My heart was a time bomb. I’m fortunate that when it did stop there was someone who could help me. So I have trained as an emergency responder, it might save someone else’s life”.
Presently, she works in a theatre and is trained in administering first aid to critical patients . It was her near-death experience that inspired her to choose a profession where she could help save people’s lives.
