Fast Food Intake Cause of Increased Death Rate

It was shocking to find that city residents living near fast-food restaurants and few grocery stores are at an increased risk of dying due to heart problems.

According to a study conducted by LaSalle Bank in Chicago it was shocking to find that city residents living near fast-food restaurants and few grocery stores are at an increased risk of dying due to heart problems, diabetes and cancer.

There is found to be a rise in the number of premature deaths lately in these areas. The study also said that the residents were found to be obese and also suffer from high blood pressure.

The researcher Mari Gallagher found that Afro Americans were found to have an out of balance diet. This resulted in choosing fatty food stuffs which increased the prevalence of chronic health issues and diet-related deaths. She said that the main aim of the study is top create awareness and therefore call for an action to prevent such increase in the death rates.
