Fidelis Care to Provide Health Insurance to About 14,000 in Two Counties

New York State Catholic Health Plan, Fidelis Care, announced that uninsured residents would be helped to apply for quality healthcare by its representatives.

New York State Catholic Health Plan, Fidelis Care, announced that uninsured residents would be helped to apply for quality healthcare by its representatives.
The personnel will be available at locations throughout Steuben and Schuyler counties.

Fidelis Care provides affordable health insurance coverage through Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid Managed Care.

10,000 adults in Steuben County between the ages of 19 and 64, and more than 2,400 children under the age of 19, do not have the security of health insurance for preventive, routine, hospital, or emergency care.

Schuyler County is home to an additional 450 uninsured children, and more than 1,800 adults, who lack the security health insurance provides.

Fidelis Care representatives will be available at the following locations to answer questions about health insurance options, and to help eligible residents apply for coverage. Current Fidelis Care members may also receive assistance with their annual recertification of enrollment at these events.
