The first imported Dengue Fever Case of this year has been confirmed
The first imported Dengue Fever Case of this year has been confirmed. The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed this, involving 31-year old Tuen Mun woman, who traveled to Malaysia during 24 – 31 December 2006.
It is being reported that she came down with fever, headache, a rash, and muscle and joint pain on January 2. She was admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital on January 6 and is now in stable condition.However, till now no such symptoms have been reported by her travel companions.
