Health experts have warned against following Victoria’s Secret supermodel, Miranda Kerr’s practice of consuming four tablespoons of coconut oil

However health experts in the United States said that consuming coconut oil in such large quantities was not good for the health and warned that it could substantially increase the risk of coronary disease.
Says Keith Ayoob, who is the director of the nutrition clinic at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, “I can't say I'd want people consuming lots of coconut oil. You should use it sparingly. You want to cut back on saturated fats in your diet. I don't know what benefit it would have for weight management because it has just as many calories as any other fat.”
