Former Fattest Man in the World Looks Forward to Second Operation
A 51-year old former postman from Ipswich, UK, who lost more than 46 stone following a gastric bypass surgery is now looking forward to another operation to remove huge folds of excess skin.
Paul Mason weighed over 70 stone when he underwent the gastric bypass back in 2010 and though he has now slimmed down to 24 stone, he is left with huge folds of skin and revealed that a surgery to remove the extra skin will cost him an additional £37,000. Mason added that he wants to continue to lose weight and is aiming to slim down further to 14 stone.

“I was ashamed to be called the fattest man in the world because I knew I’d got myself in a hell of a state.  Now I guess I could well be the biggest slimmer in the world, but I still have a way to go. I want to get down to between 14 and 15 stone which is the healthy weight for someone who is 6ft 4in”, he said.
