There is a plethora of anti-aging products, so it gets difficult to select the right product for the skin.

According to Oriflame India's beauty and make-up expert Aakriti Kochar, one needs to be extra careful while choosing such products.

"The formulation plays a vital role in judging the efficiency of an anti-ageing cream. Some vital ingredients in such products include glycerin, caffeine, hyaluronic acid and green tea. While anti-age treatments are relatively expensive than regular creams, but a product mustn't be judged by its price," Kochar told IANS.

Oriflame has recently launched an anti-aging range called 45 Time Reversing SkinGenist. Proven to address all the needs of mature skin, the range includes a day cream, a night cream and a day and night skin essence and is targeted for the women who are 45 and above.

While buying such products one should keep age and skin type in mind, she said.

"Each of us has different skin problems as we age. While some may complain about wrinkles, others might complain about puffiness. Depending on the skin concerns, one should study the product, its USPs, its claims and then choose accordingly," said Kochhar.

So how to choose right product?

"For summer and monsoon, choose a less greasy yet hydrating cream. Ideally, it should be a light formula inclusive of SPF so that one need not have to put a coat of another sunscreen. Oriflame Time Reversing SkinGenist Day Cream comprises SPF 15 to protect again free radicals and the sun," she said.
