Gay men cannot donate sperm

New Zealand fertility clinics are not accepting sperm donations from Gay men as the health ministry committee feels that they are more prone to HIV disease.

Newzelander Gay man was very much disappointed when he was not accepted to donate his sperm. The health policy does not allow Gay man to donate his sperm legally as the policy makers feel that Gay man are most prone to homosexuality and they are prone to HIV, which could lead to transmission of the virus.

The Gay man is not happy with the decision and does not accept the discrimination against him and does not accept the fact that Gay man indulge in unsafe sex and are more prone to Sexually transmitted diseases. Even critics feel that this act will cause discrimination against Gay man and feel that HIV diagnostic methods are highly developed and proper testing would enable detection of HIV and there is no need for discriminating sperm of normal and Gay man.

The fertility clinic does not accept volunteer sperm donation from Gay man but if recipients of the sperm agree to accept sperm donation from Gay man it is possible to accept from them. Researchers are sure that the sperm of Gay man does not carry genes for Gay characters to the offspring of the recipient.
