Consuming alcohol in limited proportions is said to be always best than getting addicted to it. Also, some types of alcoholic beverages such as red wine are considered to have some positive effects on the overall health. Now, UK-based company Bompas and Parr has developed the world’s first kind of gin that helps in fighting against aging. They call it as "anti-aging alcoholic gin," which is infused with collagen and other herbal extracts such as chamomile, juniper, coriander and angelica root. This may help eliminate wrinkles from the skin.
‘World’s first anti-aging gin, an alcoholic drink infused with collagen may make you look younger by eliminating wrinkles.’
Collagen is naturally available in the body but due to UV exposure and other environmental factors, the amount of collagen gets diminished in the body. Though collagen tablets are available, this new drink costing about $35 a bottle may be a simple way to consume collagen. "The ingredients were specifically chosen due to their revitalizing qualities, including healing sun-damage, being rich in minerals, inhibiting scar formation and to help smooth cellulite," Warner Leisure Hotels, which commissioned the drink, wrote on its website.
