India will host the 37th edition of the International Vegetarian Congress in Goa from Sep 10.The six-day congress, organised by International Vegetarian Union, will discuss the challenges vegetarians face across the globe. Jashu C. Shah, president of the Asian Vegetarian Union, said in a statement that the congress would help participants understand India as a country where vegetarianism is a way of life.
The conference would also discuss issues like ecology, genetic engineering, environment, spiritualism and alternate therapies, Shah said.Source-IANS
