Surely a collector's item, a 1676 holy book, which advised women- not to laugh too much, wear sexy, see-through outfits and using rush into second marriages- is being put up for sale.

The Rules of Holy Living, was written by clergyman Jeremy Taylor, is coming up for sale on March 25.

And auctioneer Charles Hanson of Derby expects that the work would fetch up to 1,000 pounds.

Ladies are advised to "abstain from wanton laughter and uncomely jests."

"Never talk to a man merely to pass the time away," the Daily Express quoted the book as saying.
