Internet search giant Google has launched an international campaign to legalise same-sex marriage, according to a report.

According to News.com.au, Google plans to team up with companies and grass-roots campaigners in countries that discriminate against homosexuals.
"We want our employees who are gay or lesbian or transgender to have the same experience outside the office as they do in the office," Google executive Mark Palmer-Edgecumbe said during a global GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender) Workplace Summit in London.
"It is obviously a very ambitious piece of work," Edgecumbe said.
According to the report, a Google spokesperson said the campaign was not a political one.
"Legalise Love is a campaign to promote safer conditions for gay and lesbian people inside and outside the office in countries with anti-gay laws on the books," the spokesperson added.
