State Health Minister Kartar Devi said Wednesday that each Red Ribbon Club would comprise eight to 16 students and would be headed by the college in-charge of the National Service Scheme.Kartar Devi said villages and urban slums would be allocated to each club to educate people about causes and preventive measures of HIV/AIDS.
Members of these clubs would also help in checking professional blood donors, she added.
The minister said 22 integrated counseling and testing centres for HIV/AIDS will be set up at sub-divisional level across the state this month.
