Apple has plans to bring in a range of new features related to health and fitness to its watch and also improve accessibility to third-party apps like Twitter.
Apple is working to pack a wide range of features in a watch such as, third-party complications, a way to locate a lost watch and several health features, including sleep tracking. However, it’s not clear when the new features will be rolled out to users, reported The Verge.
Third-party access to complications may mean that Twitter will soon be available on the Apple Watch.
Apple launched the Apple Watch in April, and within a month of its release they have come up with updates under several sections such as health and fitness, third-party apps. Meanwhile, major updates for the Apple TV are being tipped in both the software and hardware departments.
Under the Health & Fitness section, Apple is working on heart rate sensor. The feature uses the current Apple Watch’s functionality of heart rate sensor and allows users to know of an irregular heartbeat.
The firm also seems to add blood pressure monitor, glucose/ blood sugar sensors and other sleep tracking features to its watch in future.
