A 45-year old woman was arrested on suspicion of administering noxious substance to the patient in the hospital. The woman is working at the Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and was thought to give lethal doses of drugs to the patient.
Hence she was arrested by the Cambridgeshire police. The woman is a member of medical staff but not a qualified nurse. She was arrested at the hospital premises but was released on bail to return on Wednesday, 17 May.The woman, who is hailing from Cambridge is also been suspended by the hospital. A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said that the woman was arrested at Addenbrooke's. Then she was later taken to Parkside police station in Cambridge to be interviewed by officers. Further the authorities, the hospital are waiting for the ruling of the court.
