Raja yoga techniques, the Chinese Tai chi and various relaxation techniques would form part of a one-day health care programme held here on May 28 by the Rajayoga Foundation of Brahmakumaris of Mount Abu.
Conducted by Dr Girish Patel, secretary of the Medical wing of the foundation and a ist by profession, the programme will deal with finding solutions of physical ailments by discovering the spiritual potential of the patient.Talking to reporters here Patel, said the usual practice of people was to chase money till the age of 40 and after that 'keep chasing doctors and spend the money'.
Emphasising that without good health nothing much could be achieved, he said 'all we need to maintain good health is to follow seven steps'.
Elaborating on the 'seven steps', he said if proper knowledge was acquired then a person's lifestyle would also undergo changes.
The easiest, cheapest and best way to maintain health was doing regular exercises, following a diet as medicine, controlling mental stress by meditation, and keeping oneself free from addiction.
