Alcohol associated admissions to hospital in the UK have gone up unimaginably in the last five years and is now touching 900 a day, a recent report has shown.

This is an alarming trend, experts say. A report by the North West Public Health Observatory at Liverpool John Moores University has shown a 25% increase in the numbers admitted to hospital due to alcohol abuse.
