A lot of physical exercise is involved in doing housework and even though the housewife who does it is seldom appreciated, nature seems to-by reducing the risk of breast cancer.
Researchers suggest that regular housework may be more effective in reducing breast cancer risk than more intense but less frequent spare time physical activity.. Dr Lesley Walker of Cancer Research UK said: 'We already know that women who keep a healthy weight are less likely to develop breast cancer.
'This study suggests that being physically active may also help reduce the risk and that something as simple and cheap as doing the housework can help.'Source-Medindia
