Over the last 24 hours, India has reported an additional 70 COVID-19 cases, contributing to a total caseload of 449,970,33, according to the Union Health Ministry.

The start of the year 2020 has an outbreak of a //new coronavirus (2019-nCoV). In early December 2019, a number of pneumonia cases were reported in individuals exposed to a seafood and animal wholesale market in the city of Wuhan, Hubei province, China. According to the Ministry's data, the death toll rose to 5,31,929 as one more succumbed to the disease.
