India will host the first international three-day conference on neuropathic pain where health experts from 22 countries will participate in the conference.
An official from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi has revealed that India will host the first international conference on neuropathic pain devoted to research and treatment of the tormenting condition. The three-day conference to be organized by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) will start on November 6.
"Health experts from 22 countries, including Germany, France and Sweden, will participate in the conference," said the official from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Neuropathic pain is a complex, chronic pain that usually accompanies tissue injury. With neuropathic pain, nerve fibers themselves may be damaged, dysfunctional, or injured.
