Indian Wine Major Indage Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Wine lovers in the national capital had a great time as Chateau Indage, a wine producing company, celebrated its 25th anniversary with a wine festival.

New Delhi, Wine lovers in the national capital had a great time as Chateau Indage, a wine producing company, celebrated its 25th anniversary with a wine festival.

Around 400 people Saturday savoured different varieties of wines like Chantilli, Ivy and Marquise de Pompadour and participated in events like grape stomping and foot massages with wine.

The candles, cakes, ice creams, chocolates, beauty products and even the food that was served had wine in it.

"It's awesome. I ordered chicken at one stall and before serving it to me, they poured wine on it. Chicken never tasted so delicious," said Rajesh Kumar, a businessman.

"The idea of having a wine fest is quite extraordinary. We just have wine tonight and no other drinks. Delhi has a taste bud for wine and we thought of giving its people what they never enjoyed before," said Ajay Kumar Gothwal of Chateau Indage.

Chateau Indage Ltd. is the first sparkling wine producing and exporting company of India. Indage exports its different varieties of wine to 69 countries like the US, Japan, UK, Switzerland, Germany, U.A.E, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Fiji and Singapore.
