Current schemes target healthy individuals who will get insurance benefits if they contract cancer. A new scheme will be launched to cater to cancer patients.

In 2016, Star Health Insurance’s collection was Rupees 2,962 crore. Now they have plans to target Rupees 4,000 crore in 2017.




“We’re on track to accomplish our targets for this year and presently on a year-to-date basis. We have done close to Rupees 1,100 crore of insurance premium, and we are proud to say that we’re growing at the rate of 40 percent,” said Roy.
Star Health Insurance is also targeting insurance for children with autism. Insurance plan specifically for children with autism will be launched once the regulatory permission is approved.
