Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is in jail for assault and trial-fixing charges, has been begging the singer to secretly fund his drug habit behind bars, it has been revealed.
According to reports, Blake told his fellow inmates, at London’s tough Pentonville jail, that he has asked Amy to deposit money in the bank account of another con, who would then give him the heroin.“Blake’s addiction is just as bad as ever and he’s bragging about how he’s been asking Amy to help him get a fix. He showed us the bank details of a known dealer inside Pentonville and said he’d asked Amy to make regular wire transfers to this guy in exchange for heroin,” The Sun quoted a prison source as saying.
“Apparently he wanted each transfer to end in a single pound, so the dealer would know who the money came from,” the source added.
In the prison, the asking price for each “wrap” is said to be 100 pounds, which is four times its street value.
“Blake doesn’t care as long as he gets his hit. He’s prepared to put his wife at risk. It shows how desperate he’s become,” the source said.
Meanwhile, a warning has been sent to Blake’s solicitors by Pentonville’s security chief Andy Watts.

Blake has already failed one drugs test that was carried out inside the prison, and his demand on the 24-year-old singer comes at a time when she is battling her own demons.
