Kate William, the Duchess of Cambridge took another big step on her road to recovery from severe morning sickness. She joined her hubby Prince William and 27 members of their household staff for a Christmas lunch at the Bumpkin restaurant in Notting Hill.
The Royal couple ate in the Queen's Room, underneath a large portrait of Her Majesty.
According to staff at the eatery, the 30-year-old royal, who was hospitalised by hyperemesis gravidarum earlier this month, was well enough to eat Turkey without any obvious ill effects, the Telegraph reported.
Staff at the restaurant said that she looked "a picture of health" in a floral blue and white dress with a dinner jacket.
The party opted for the 30-pound-Christmas menu, with no special requests, and Kate, naturally, stuck to soft drinks.
The fact that the Duchess was well enough to go out for a meal in public suggests that she has got over the chronic vomiting which strikes hyperemesis sufferers.
