Hyderabad-based Global hospitals has launched kidney support group; it will meet once a month and registration is free.
Global Hospitals, Hyderabad, launched kidney support group on March 11, with an aim to bring together patients with kidney diseases. The hospital officials said that the support group meeting will take place once every month and anybody can enroll for free. Telangana Health Minister C. Laxma Reddy launched the Kidney Support Group along with K.S. Ratnakar, chairman of Global Medical Education and Research Foundation, Global Hospitals.
Dr. Gandhe Sridhar, chief consultant and kidney transplant physician, Global Hospitals, said, “Kidney diseases are increasingly becoming a serious health concern in our country. It is important for public to understand the causes and take preventive measures at the earliest. This is our latest initiative to help people come together to overcome their health challenges.”
