Moving out of bed in the wee hours of the day is the most difficult thing we experience every day. Some of us love sleeping while others prefer to limit their sleeping times and work on something useful. But have you ever imagined how much you could accomplish by ditching your beds? A new online calculator, My Life Asleep, developed by an interior design company called Hillarys Blinds, reveals the time you have spent sleeping all these years and the calories burnt while sleeping.
‘My Life Asleep is an online tool that calculates how many hours a person has slept in his lifetime, how many calories were burnt while sleeping and what the person could have achieved in the time he spent shut-eye.
’
It may sound exciting to know about the hours you have dedicated to the bed all your life, but another feature that may seem unpleasant is that the calculator also tells about the things you may have achieved if you had not slept for so much time in your life. The My Life Asleep tool gives you the average number of days, weeks and years you have spent shut-eye based on your age. For example, a person aged 30 years could have slept for more than 13 years, the time sufficient to build an Eiffel tower or make the film gravity.
