Rayence Inc. a Korean firm is a global leading manufacturer of flat panel detectors (FPD) for digital radiography imaging systems. It has recently got clearance from the Food and Drug administration in the US for the sale of its product called RU-3000 universal digital radiography system.
It recently showcased its device at the annual meeting of Radiological Society of North America in Chicago, which is its first U-arm system to be marketed in the US.

“The RU-3000 represents an expansion of our product offering into X-ray generating equipment. It is a progressive business step and speaks to the direction we’re taking with our growing company”, said Leo Park, president of Rayence Inc.

RU-3000 is compactly designed with movable dual telescoping arms. It can even be installed in rooms having ceiling heights of 8 feet.It has motorized arms that can be operated by using its touchscreen display or even by remote control from distance.

The system also has a high-quality Rayence 17x17-inch cesium detector that is connected with Rayence’s XmaruView workstation for image review. It also has on-board sensors that prevent patients from colliding with the device if the operator is inattentive.It has a mobile table for easy accessibility. The Ru-3000 is well suited for utility in orthopedics, imaging centers and emergency care.
