British singer Amy Winehouse has been put under a 24-hour house arrest following her confession of taking drugs while being treated for heroin addiction.
The singer's label bosses have put her under surveillance in an effort to keep her away from any dealers and drug-taking friends, according to reports.Amy is said to have admitted: "I've never been to rehab - I mean, done it properly. I'm young, and I'm in love, and I get my nuts off sometimes."
"But it's never been like, 'Amy, get your life together,'" she added.
The troubled singer was discharged from a London clinic on June 30, after collapsing at her home earlier last month.
Doctors subsequently diagnosed her with traces of potentially deadly lung disease emphysema.
And, in an anxious bid to keep her clean of drugs, executives at her music label Island Records have reportedly put her under the attentive eye of a full-time security guard.

"There is also a security guard stationed outside her house around the clock to vet any undesirables. From now on, there'll be no more waifs and strays (random people) coming into her place, wreaking havoc.
