Eating disorder charities are annoyed as this is a setback to their drive against discouraging size zero figures.

No health checks for models participating in London Fashion Week, authorities have decided. This follows similar refusal by other major cities.

Mental health organizations have called this fashion week a bit callous for abetting a dangerous trend.

Susan Ringwood, of eating disorder group Beat, said: “We had hoped the tide had turned, so this is a disappointing move. If we’re back to the days of one size on the catwalk it’s sad.”
