Low Folate Levels During Pregnancy Linked to Hyperactive Kids
A new study has revealed that the risk of hyperactivity increases in kids if their mothers had low folate levels during pregnancy.
Researchers from the University College London's Institute of Child Health and University of Southampton monitored 100 mothers during pregnancy and 8 years after delivery.

The researchers report that mothers who had lower folate levels during pregnancy had kids with peer problems and higher hyperactivity during childhood.

The details appear in Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry
