Canadians will now have better access to Mayo Clinic's specialized care through two health insurance choices, if they meet with a serious illness.
Two health insurance choices have been announced by Mayo Clinic and Assured Diagnosis Inc. (ADI) of Calgary, as a result of which, Canadians will have better access to Mayo Clinic's specialized care if they meet with a serious illness. The two health plans are MyCare Health Benefit Option (HBO) and MyCare Advantage Insurance. These are now available to companies and associations alongwith their existing benefits packages.

MyCare HBO helps members get serious illnesses diagnosed and provides scans and necessary specialist check-ups. Customers of this plan are guaranteed access to Mayo Clinic expertise delivered remotely, via an electronic medical opinion consultation.
The other plan, MyCare Advantage Insurance provides coverage for serious illnesses and major orthopedic conditions that may occur after a patient is enrolled with the MyCare HBO Group Plan.
With MyCare Advantage, costs for medical treatment, and travel are covered at the following locations: Mayo Clinic campuses in Jacksonville, Fla., Scottsdale/Phoenix, Ariz., and Rochester, Minn.
The two new products have been launched all over Canada, excluding Quebec in the initial stage.
