Medtronic Unveils NuVent EM Sinus Dilation System

Medtronic has unveiled its NuVent EM Sinus Dilation System that comes with a built-in electromagnetic (EM) surgical navigation technology.

Minneapolis-based medical device company Medtronic has unveiled its NuVent EM Sinus Dilation System that comes with a built-in electromagnetic (EM) surgical navigation technology.

NuVent is the only balloon sinus dilation system that features the EM technology and will help surgeons to confirm anatomy and optimize balloon placement during balloon sinus surgery. The surgeons will be able to see the precise location of the instrument with the help of Fusion screen.
